By now, I’m sure all of you know that probiotics are really good for you. We see the yogurt commercials, supplement commercials and we hear about it on the news and on blogs. Everyone knows that your gut needs probiotics in order to function, but did you know they are also great for your skin?

Introducing TULA – a skincare line using patented Probiotic Technology and nutritious ingredients to protect, revitalize and nourish the skin. The new line of products launched exclusively on QVC.com in Fall 2014 and is quickly being recognized by big names like Dr Oz and The Huffington Post.

Dr. Roshini Raj, a gastroenterologist and one of the founders of TULA, believes in embracing a healthy, balanced lifestyle – in fact, TULA means “balance” in Sanskrit. Dr. Raj understands that inner harmony leads to outer beauty, and that feeling great on the outside can improve how we feel on the inside.

TULA’s Probiotic Technology defends against harmful external bacteria with a proprietary blend of important ingredients: probiotics, including yogurt and milk extracts; nutripeptides from hydrolyzed rice; Vitamins A, C and E; antioxidants, including turmeric, white tea and blueberry extract; and Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids derived from wild flax oil. All TULA products are gluten-free and also free of parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, propylene glycol and petroleum. No TULA products are tested on animals.

I got to try out TULA Probiotic Skincare Hydrating Day and Night Cream and TULA Probiotic Skincare Illuminating Face Serum. I replaced my usual moisturizers with both Tula products for 2 weeks. I was surprised that not only did it not give me a breakout, which usually happens when I start a new beauty routine, but it cleared up the mild acne I had when I started. I think the probiotics in the products really helped clear up the acne by killing the bacteria on the surface of my skin. Truly impressive and much better for your skin than antibacterial cleansers that can dry out and irritate your skin.

I urge you to check out the products on QVC.com. You can get the TULA Probiotic Skincare 4-Piece Discovery Collection for just $49 so you can try out all the products.

I received the item mentioned above in exchange for an honest review.  All opinions are my own and I did not receive compensation for this post.
